The new menu consists of flavourful, uncomplicated and healthy dishes.

Chef, Jonathan Gargan, and Food and Beverage manager, George Sakulias, combined local, fresh ingredients, innovation and professional artistry to present a menu which offers uncomplicated and flavourful dishes. “There are many factors that come into play when compiling a menu”, says Sakulias, “firstly you have to decide on the concept that you would like to achieve and the identity of what you would like to establish. The concept created for Bistro 1800 is hearty, comfort food where the guest may treat themselves to an experience that is authentic, but homely”.

Bistro 1800 believes that providing seasonal foods to a health-conscious clientele is very important. It is also important to maintain the integrity of the food source when cooking with specific ingredients. Simplicity is the secret when it comes to describing the overall style of the revamped menu.

Sirius – An Intergalactic Journey to launch in Cape Town

The creator of LOVE & LIGHT and PACHA Ibiza Cape Town presents SIRIUS- an intergalactic journey from day into night event, featuring top international progressive trance artists PHAXE and LISH! Sirius, held on 15 June 2013 at Bloemendal, Durbanville brings you a new and exciting indoor-outdoor venue with a 270 degree view over the beautiful mother city.

Sirius is the brightest star in the universe and its name was derived from ancient Greek meaning “glowing”. It was believed that the appearance of Sirius signalled the hot and dry summer which caused plants to wilt, men to weaken, and women to become aroused. Just as the appearance of Sirius in the morning sky marked summer in Greece, so it marked the chilly onset of winter for the M?ori where it was known as Ka’ulua, “Queen of Heaven”.  In Theosophy, it is believed the Seven Stars of the Pleiades transmit the spiritual energy of the Seven Rays from the Galactic Logos to Sirius. From there is it sent via the Sun to the god of Earth and finally through the seven Masters of the Seven Rays to the human race.

And so we come together to celebrate the change of season and unite our spiritual energy to the greater good of human kind, to free energy, abundance, social justice, and inter-planetary support. An incredible line-up of astronomical trance at a beautiful venue – be sure not to miss Sirius this winter.
