Treat your taste buds to a day in the country

Its time to indulge your senses once again at the now legendary SA Cheese Festival on the picturesque Bien Donn farm between Paarl and Franschhoek. There to tempt you from 27 to 30 April 2007 will be an abundance of boutique and renowned cheeses from known and new cheese makers across the country, with the added bonus of authentic French cheeses specially imported for the festival.
The SA Cheese Festival has become a household name not only amongst those that cannot wait to taste the new champion cheeses, but also amongst the many visitors who want to spend a day in the country side. Over the past five years more than 100 000 people attended the event. With the sixth SA Cheese Festival to be presented by Agri-Expo at the end of April 2007, the organizers will build on their winning recipe by managing the increasing popularity of the festival to ensure maximum enjoyment for both exhibitors and visitors.
This is the one festival that has maintained its focus, and visitors can look forward to experiencing a palate pleasing sensation of an unrivaled selection of cheese.
Come and share the bounty of nature in the heart of the beautiful Boland countryside. Taste away on your favourite cheeses and enjoy the various wines, olives, freshly baked bread and other delicacies on offer. Let the experts show you how to enchant with cheese and show the kids how cows, goats and even sheep are milked.
